This story keeps getting deeper and deeper. The Sherrods really are a bunch of race baiting opportunists.

My Apology to Shirley Sherrod — Withdrawn

Posted by GayPatriot at 4:39 pm - July 27, 2010.

Last week, I jumped the gun (as did many others) in taking what was a complex story and boiling it down to an video clip without its proper context. I apologized to my readers and to Shirley Sherrod.

I hereby withdraw the apology to Mrs. Sherrod.

As I noted at the time, this was a very complex story and I had a pretty good hunch that Mrs. Sherrod was not the angel she appeared to be. I am correct. She is a picture perfect product of the liberal policies that make African-Americans dependent on the Federal Government and foster a victimization mentality. Mrs. Sherrod claimed she learned something when she helped that white farmer, but what she learned may be worse than the presumed racism from the clip of her at the NAACP meeting in March.

I mean – get a load of this. This is the conclusion Sherrod makes against Andrew Breitbart:

SHIRLEY SHERROD, FMR. GEORGIA DIRECTOR, RURAL DEVELOPMENT, USDA: I don’t think he’s [Andrew Breitbart] interested in seeing anyone get past it, because I think he’d like to get us stuck back in the times of slavery. That’s where I think he’d like to see all black people end up again. And that’s why –

ANDERSON COOPER: You think he’s a racist?

SHERROD: — I think he’s so vicious. Yes, I do. And I think that’s why he’s so vicious against a black president.

Are you f–ing kidding me???? So Shirley is in the camp of — “If You Criticize Obama, You are a Racist”. Give me a bloody break.

Oh but there’s much more. Salon’s uber-progressive Editor in Chief calls Shirley’s husband, Charles, a “civil rights hero”. Um, really?

Charles Sherrod: “We must stop the white man and his Uncle Toms from stealing our elections.” (January 2010)

The Sherrod’s are full-blown race-baiting liberals. Dan Riehl has done all of the research, so you don’t have to. But here’s the money quote:
Mark Knoller mentioned a potential wrongful termination lawsuit [from Shirley Sherrod] in passing. And now the media and the administration seem intent on making her [Sherrod] disappear. One theory on that I’ve heard is, they don’t want people asking questions about her lawsuit. What I’m wondering is, maybe they don’t want people asking questions about Obama.
He worshiped with Jeremiah Wright for years. He potentially appointed a racist black liberationist Marxist to the USDA. Just how many of them does he have around him, as he sits in the WH waging war on capitalism? And, finally, what might all those college documents of his they won’t let us see tell us about him … especially given this?
Ultimately, given all this now beginning to come out as a result of Andrew Breitbart’s original work makes him a hero in my book. These are the tough questions the press doesn’t even want to ask. It brings to the front important issues on race and racism, black, or otherwise, the press and the WH don’t wish to confront. But that’s what’s suppose to happen in a genuinely free, open and democratic society.
As things stand, an extremely controversial woman is sitting there with a free ticket for a promotion at the USDA from an incompetent in the WH who created this mess by appointing her, then firing her too quickly for some reason. This isn’t Breitbart’s mess. This is now Obama’s mess to clean up, or justify, as far as I’m concerned. Heckuva job, Barry. Heckuva job. At least we’re starting to get used to it. I believe the word is: incompetent.
Obama really does seem to have some of the strangest friends, just like Joan Walsh, of Sherrod’s white media conspiracy against blacks. Who’d a thunk it?
So I’m through with this story. The edited video was unfortunate, but the true racist stripes of the NAACP, the Sherrods, and the Obama Administration have certainly come out over a week’s time. So bravo, Mr. Breitbart. You hit the target.

The Pigford Farms settlement case is very interesting. The Sherrod's involvement and settlement for hundreds of thousands of dollars for themselves and billions of dollars for others just for alleged discrimination is nothing short of organized crime on their part in my opinion. It is like Jessie Jackson shaking down corporations for mega dollars.

Allegedly there were once 25,000 black farmers in America that may have been discriminated against when applying for government loans. Over 2.2 billion dollars have been "awarded" so far to over 25,000 people. The average award is $50,000. (Ms Sherrod took over $300,000 and her husband received a settlement as well) The Sherrods are put in charge of disbursement of a remaining one billion dollars. In the second wave of discrimination claims there are over 70,000 black people claiming discrimination. There were only 25,000 black farmers. All that is apparently needed to receive $50,000 was for a black person to claim that they wanted to be a farmer but they believed that if they asked for a government loan that they would have been discriminated against so they never applied for a loan. Their belief that they may be discriminated against even before they were discriminated against was enough to receive a check for $50,000 via Sherrod's organization and successful settle against the U.S. Government. She was placed in her current position as a result of this settlement. This money (settlement money for allegedly discriminated against black farmers) was being funneled through a Military Defense Bill. Immediately prior to the release of this tape of Sherrod saying that black people should be ashamed to be selling their land to white people, the government pulled funding for her program to issue checks out to black people claiming perceived discrimination. The gross majority of recipients are thought to be fraudulent.

This is what we have come to when we rely on big government to care for us and our farms.

Oh and this little gem uttered by her husband, Charlie Sherrod:

Charles Sherrod: "We must stop the white man and his Uncle Toms from stealing our elections."

Ms Sherrod not only wants to keep white people from buying black land, she sued the government was awarded millions of dollars to be redistributed through a FEDERAL DEFENSE BILL. She personally took $300,000 and was awarded the current USDA job she was fired from as a result of the lawsuit. He husband also received monetary compensation through the lawsuit of your tax dollars. She was placed in charge off writing government checks to "black farmers that have been victims of whites buying their lands" and of which federal inquire has noted that as much of 95% of all claims and awards granted by Ms Sherrod are FRAUDULENT !

I am glad for one thing regarding Barack Obama's poor sense of racism and bigotry and that is more and more people are speaking up about the utter degradation that organizations such as the NAACP and community organizers such as Barack Obama have instilled upon black people and other minorites. Many black people are finally waking up and realizing that they have had enough dumbing down standards, race baiting liberal politicians and living under government dependance.

Here is a wonderful woman by the name of Star Parker at CURE. The Coalition for Urban Renewal and Education.

Why are we discussing racism? :

Singer's right. If she does simply disappear into private life, it's over. Or it better be. Then you're really just picking on a private citizen for no good reason.

Of course if she takes any job for the government she's "fair game", as long as the game actually is fair! That means no half-statements taken out of context!

For whatever this may mean. Bill O Riley has deliberately stated for the past two nights that this story is not over.
He apologized for his part in the first part of the story, but he has said at least twice that this story is not over, and he is investigating. So there is more to come.

Personally, I feel it will all depend on if she takes the new job, and just what that job entails. If she just goes into private life, it's done. But if her job involves her deciding who gets money, then there's a problem. Cause clearly she has race issues on some level.
Given her back ground, can't say I blame her. Still, she can't handle public money with that bias.

I don't know the answer to that either. Do you suppose after she said it wasn't about black verses white and then she said well, OK it is about black verses white it was because she knew the NAACP would throw her out the do if she didn't retract that statement?

Shoeshine Boy

I don't know. Why did members of the NAACP laugh when Sherod said she was discriminating against him?

Why does she still lament that black people do and might still sell their land to white people?

Say, why does the previously dead, now suddenly alive ol man Spooner say that he doesn't know where all this talk about racism is coming from when Sherrod admits that he was a victim of her racism?
