Good Lord! There was a huge scandal about a "house of ill repute" being busted waaaay back when I was in high school. In the mid 70s!!! And there was an infamous gal (I can't recall her name at the moment) whom was quite well known as a prostitute. (Also over 30 years ago.) So, being that things have become more shall we say 'premissive' in the insuing years, why on earth would anyone think that they do not exist around here now?

I have noticed like for instance some people prefer to pay for things like when you give a ways a dog I have seen this at the old walmart they put up a free puppies sign and no one gets em then later they change the sign charging $5 a puppy and they are gone, maybe they think they are getting a better deal by spending $$ on it when they could get it for free.

I highly doubt there are hookers in Wilkesboro....this town is way too small for that kind of behavior. Besides people around here would have to barter for it...too poor to pay for it....
