I live in Taylorsville and haven't seen a bear as of yet. A few grey foxes, but no bear. My former husband and I saw a black bear swimming in Kerr Scott years ago. It swam right up to the shore, walked out of the water, shook off and headed back into the woods! That was an impressive sight that I've never forgotten.
LOLs to MetalTrucker! Now that cold weather is here the crackheads will probably be out in their fur coats!

One of our hunt club members killed a nice bear in Parsonville, on Summit Road. Although, we have more bear in Low Gap, Surry County.

Not at all suprised about a bear in another county, we have bears that come in our backyard at night time and tear into the bee gums.
