She can call the North Wilkesboro Housing Authority. If she is homeless and has a baby she should be bumped to the top of the list since she has no were to go even if she is staying with a friend. The apartments are based on income and if you have no income the rent is very little to nothing each month. I know a friend who lived there when she first had her little girl.

She got kicked out of her parents before she had the baby. Nothing fishy.How can it be fishy if i just ask for suggestions. I didnt ask any of you to put her up or give her money.Some people on her are just ****ty. I thought someone might know of some agency that could help her and this baby. I should have known better to post anything on here about it. Homeless is homeless it doesnt matter the reason,it is cold outside and she has a month old baby.

There is a place in Boone called the Hospitality House. http://www.hospitalityhouse... I've worked with mothers and babies who have stayed there and they seem to have had a good experience. I am not sure what the qualifications are to gain a bed there, but maybe you could look into it. Their contact info is on the website.
Was she able to remove her things from her previous home? By that I mean do she or the baby need clothing or other baby things? I can't help with a place to stay, but I could possibly help with other things they might need. PM me if you would like. Good luck!

I'm sorry.... but something sounds fishy to me.
Girl with newborn gets kicked out of home because the bathroom is dirty.
Sounds like there is more to the story than is being told.
I mean im sorry for the baby and new mom, but still....

Does she have any close friends who might could help her out with a place to stay until she can find a place? How about the baby's father? Where is he in this picture?

In a past life I work charity hotline for a church(not in this state) and we would not give a person the money but we would make a reservation and pay for a hotel room in a situation like this that is why I suggested churches.

I won't participate in all the questioning.
Sorry I wasn't able to help.
Sassy I would also try and see if there are any churches around that maybe able to.
I also would explore and see if she has any other relatives that may be able to accomodate her temporarily like an aunt and uncle, grandparents or something.
There maybe some financial assistance available thru some charities that may be able to put her up for a few nights in a hotel room.
It's late but try calling the united way as well
