sassy senior Posted 6:00 pm, 11/05/2009
I will take the coupon clipping class if Smalltownman will

smalltownman Posted 5:57 pm, 11/05/2009
Ha! I've got you all beat! I clip coupons, download them off the 'net, and get them from neighbors and friends.
Then I proceed to let them lie around and expire.

uncledaddy Posted 04:05 am, 11/05/2009
I'm not rightly sure I would ever "brag" about goin to a coupon class....Me, I'm strictly self-taught.

I've clipped coupons for years. I normally save $10-$20 everytime I go grocery shopping. I can't imagine having to take a big notebook with me to the store though. I'll just keep my little coupon organizer that fits inside my purse.

bigboystoys Posted 1:47 pm, 11/04/2009
Geeez there, EB .... ya' already got the internet, right? Search on "coupon clipping secrets" and "coupon clipping and exchanges". Realize that it doesn't offer a 'classroom' type setting but the info is there .... and it ain't a protected secret.

Mtnbiker Posted 1:41 pm, 11/04/2009
TV stations, the Today Show, AOL, etc are always doing segments on coupons and tricks of the trade. Bet you could learn a lot of what you need to know by going to their websites, googling, etc.

NICCINC Posted 1:33 pm, 11/04/2009
well couldn't we start one? maybe jdtr's daughter could give us tips!

Eb_1 Posted 1:14 pm, 11/04/2009
I think the class teaches when and where to find the best coupons and rebates.

asku Posted 10:19 pm, 11/03/2009
Most of the coupons that I see are things that I rarely us or things that I can get a different brand and save more that if I used the coupon..

justdowntheroad Posted 10:17 pm, 11/03/2009
My daughter had been to a party. She lives in Tennessee. She told me to get a big notebook, buy the inserts that you use for baseball cards (Wal Mart has) and get you some dividers . Set up your notebook like that. You will be able to see the coupon and expiration date more easier. I wish more places around here would double coupons. I am working on mine.

cloverfield Posted 10:15 pm, 11/03/2009
lol I bet apple even has an app for that.

skitterjoe Posted 10:13 pm, 11/03/2009
WELL **** I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SUNDAY PAPER NOW.

cloverfield Posted 10:11 pm, 11/03/2009
are you freaking serious? they have a class for that?!

Eb_1 Posted 9:59 pm, 11/03/2009
Ok so who has anyone heard of this in our area?? I am getting jealous of facebook friends in surrounding states bragging about going to a coupon class and then using the info learned to spend $70 and save $60.
