Here's what the guy who runs the Alaska network that carries my show wrote:
THE SHOW SOUNDS GROOVY AND RELATING!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
Your show airs every Saturday Night at 7pm, leads into Dr. Demento.
Saturday nights sound GREAT here!!!! Your show is loved by the natives of Alaska!

Dinker, my wife still hasn't written the recipe down. She said "It's long, and I don't have time."
I'd gladly give it to you if I knew it! I'll keep pressing. When I get it, I'll start a thread, so it's easy to spot.

You are so right RG!! I am sitting in my easy chair with a great cup of fresh ground columbian coffee and a slice of persimmon I made last night. Thinking what a great day it has been, and how lucky I am. Glad things are going well in your life too.
BTW, did I miss that great coffee cake recipe, or is your lovely wife gonna be hostess to a hundred guest's next Sunday who are there for her coffee cake?

Dinner was fantastic. I produced another couple of radio commercials which actually don't suck (voiced by a very talented lady who does voice-work for me)..
Now off to watch Jeopardy with the pooch, while the wife pays bills. I wish there were fewer of those. But if there's enough left over for food for us, and kibble for the pooch, who could ask for more? Ok, the bird and the cats would like to be fed too. But you can't have everything!
Loving domesticity! LIFE IS GOOD!

Coolness for you, Jeepster.
Since I started the thread, my doctor's office called. All the blood work I had last week (because of my diabetes) looked great. I'm doing well!
And the hits just keep on coming! (As they say in my biz!)

Now I would love to live in Alaska - in a log house in the woods with lots of wild animals around

What a great day!
I got lots of work done, got a very encouraging letter from Scott Edwards, the Operations Manager of "Alaska Community Radio", which owns a six-station statewide network that carries my radio show.
I spent quality time with my dog. There's roast-beef with carrots and potatoes in the crock-pot, smelling heavenly. And my lovely wife will be home soon. Life is good! I am truly blessed. And I hope you are too, neighbor!
