I have not noticed that people are less friendly. Folks are mostly really friendly to me. Friendlier more so now, than for about a decade in the 80's, but that was my fault. I don't know, I guess it's just perspective.

We should try to be a little kinder and little more understanding because everyone we meet is fighting some kind of battle

When dealing with hateful unhappy people it is best to kill them with kindness anyday that's my theory anyway. I am very blessed in my life also and would not change a thing. I also have a wonderful hubby and 3 great kids and we are doing well for ourselves so what more could I want so I have no reason to be mean or unhappy.

I for one feel so blessed and thankful to have what we have and three healthy kids.Everyone has down days but i just try to think that tomorrow will be a better day.There is alot of things in our life i would love to have and be able to do that we can"t afford to.But at least we have a roof over our head and a car to drive and Three good kids and a good husband. So i feel like i have alot to be happy for and no matter how upset or worried i get sometimes and out of heart i get i just try to think about the homeless people and people that have lost everything. This helps me to want to smile and thank God each and every day for what i do have in my life.I have always loved to work with people in customer service jobs because i always smile and try to make the people feel welcome and want to come back again.No matter how down and out i am there is always someone who needs cheering up that is in a lot worse place than i am in.Just remenber a smile can make someones day.

These days there are so many unfriendlyand uncaring people out there that I prefer my dogs to people most anyday lol

I know people that are so unhappy with themselves that they treat others like Crap because they hate to see others happy and not wraped up in their misery. I also know people that brag and act like their lives are so much better than everyone elses to mask the problems they really have and to make them feel way more important than they really are. Then again some people are just mean hatefull people that have nothing better to do than cause drama and worry about others. Glad I have better things to do than sit and conspire all day on how to try to make others feel unimportant and beneath me.

Are people generally less friendly these days because they are fearful , more self-absorbed, a combination of things or what?
