Condition of North Wilkesboro Fire Victims Unchanged

Hospital officials report no change this morning in the condition of a North Wilkesboro woman who was critically injured when she breathed in superheated air Monday morning as her house was burning. Linda Call was pulled from her burning house just before 7am Monday by an unidentified neighbor. Officials at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem still list her condition as critical. Her husband, William Call, who was also helped from the home when the dryer caught fire, was listed in fair condition. Their home is a total loss, according to fire officials.
