As an original member of OPEC, their communist leaning dictatorships have sowed this harvest for years and now are reaping the benefits. It is way past time for those people to rise up and take their country back. I agree with JR -- let cuba and the other communist leaning countries of the region come to their aid. When they nationalized their oil production to our detriment and threw out our producers in the '70's they should have looked a little further down the road.

Let the people of Venezuela rise up against their oppressor and tormentors to secure their right to freedom and betterment for themselves. This should be done by the people of Venezuela without the interference of outside countries.
If they want to eat and have a great country like it once was then let them fight to restore it or starve.
This interference by others into the internal matters of other countries must cease. The US went into Iraq and Afghanistan to fight for whatever reason while given the handout of freedom and life to the peoples of these countries who had no idea what to do with it. Like giving welfare to someone who has no idea of financial responsibility, wasted.
Let those people fight for what or however much they want. It will mean far more to them in life and later generations.
This is why Russia, the US, and China are strong nations. They fought for what they have and intend on keeping it.

Very sad , seems that much of the aid lands in the hands of the countries leaders, not the people who need it. If not for people who voluntary go to other countries to help, they would get very little aid.
Of course the leaders of even the poorest countries have huge fortunes..

And yet people still say they support Bernie. If Hillary wants to win, she needs to point out to the young people that are supporting Bernie that this is what will happen in the US if Bernie is elected.

It's the end of days as they say. I have no idea but I'm not scared at all, should I be? I feel sorry for those poor people starving and it's all over power.
