Here a few links for events. I'm including Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th. Be sure to scroll down to see events for the 14th. Most wineries are doing special dinners and wine tastings. I'll be adding more events throughout the week so keep checking the Local Events section. If your restaurant or business is having a special event please feel free to add it there.

Valentine's is for suckers. You should not need a made up holiday to show someone you love them.

Sixth and Main will be open for fine dining. Don't know if there will be music or not. Not sure about reservations either.

What ever happened to old fashioned picnics too simple things, you could made set up a date at olive garden but if you really want a valentines day to count then I suggest some me time with rose pedals, candle light, you know the protocol for this type of thing. Nothing says I love you then planning ahead with scenery.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, looking for ideas. Anyone know of what special events are being held either here in Wilkes or surrounding counties?
