Doesn't matter, IRS is not processing refunds until 1/31. Since employers are still required to submit W-2s by the 31st or at least have them post dated by the 31st then it doesn't really matter when you get it.

You can opt to receive them via email, but if you don't do that then they are mailed out and you receive them around the end of the month.
