Still registered to Tharpe Milling company with the county

The elderly couple that use to own Tharpe's Mill sold the property last year. The new owners may not allow visitors.

In the White House? I was going to walk over there but I did not want to scare anybody or get shot. I have looked for a number all over the net. It use to be on explore Wilkes website but the page is gone when you click on the link. If anybody knows any info on who to contact please let me know? I have a kid who ask me and everybody to see Tharpe mill water wheel.

I think the folks that live across the road own it.

I have taken him to Linneys mill and he loved it. He has always wanted to see the waterwheel at Tharpe mill. We drove over there yesterday and it is roped off. If you could find out who I contact that would be great. He is nine and has seen pictures of it and really wants to go down there.

We have always gone and had family pics made there and didn't contact anyone. I think if you are just going to look around, you will be fine, but if you wanted it for an event (my nephew got married there) I can try and find out who to contact.
