I have read most of the posts about this place. I am just wondering how long they have been in business. This the first time that I have ever heard of this place. I read one post where their kid called someone an idiot. Then I hear about the awful smell and all the dogs running around doing their business where ever they want. Then I read where they rent U Haul vehicles. Does U Haul not inspect the places that they are allowing to represent them. Then on top of all this they are a mechanic shop and from what I am understanding a junk yard as well. I am just wondering if I am correct in my understanding of this place. It sounds like they have several businesses in one and if they have been in business for years, then they should be doing quite well financially. Am I missing something here because someone else said that they were out of money. Can someone help me here.

It's absolutely disgusting the state lets this man still run a business. He wouldn't know how to run a business if it slapped him in the face. Dogs running around spewing and pooping on the floor. He is disrespectful and thinks he is above and better than everyone and his child called my wife and idiot. Most idiot people around. He's trying to start businesses everywhere because he is in debt and doesn't have anymoney left. It's a shame Jim Church is passed, he was the only reason that business was up and he actually knew something about the car business. Wow.

From people like the OP coming up in there causing trouble. I believe his name is Jim.

Why would a mechanic need to take any crap? I don't understand.

Who was the mechanic?

I have dealt with Doc and his staff since they started CR Cars. They have always treated me well and with respect....That may be because I treat them the same. The mechanic is good. He don't take any crap, but hes a good mechanic. The lady in the office, who is no longer with the company was wonderful. I agree the smell was sometimes overpowering, but I guess to each his own.

jj77 I agree with you. It could be a really nice place but he will trash it like everywhere else he has been. Just sit back and watch and wait. It will come to an end. And Chris, you appear to know a lot about this person as most everything you have said does add up and show what kind of person he is, and IMO that isn't much.

they weren't repoed for work being done somewhere else ,it was for dropping insuarance on the vehicle ,and in nc if your buying a car and you drop the insuarance they can repo the car

If that's the case then the OP has nothing to complain about. If I was the dealer I would have repossessed the vehicle to. He was completely justified in protecting his financial interest. The OP agreed to carry collision insurance so the lender will get paid if the vehicle is wrecked. I can tell by the OP's post that if they had totaled the vehicle they would have let it go back and the dealer would lost money. I'm amazed by how some people look at things. If the OP had totaled the vehicle they would not pay for it because they could not afford to buy another car and pay for this one to. In their mind they would justify giving the dealer the shaft and argue they are in the right. People like this is why we have this repo law. I bought two cars off of a family members lot and because we are kin he did not require me to carry collision like everyone else. I did wreck one of them and I finished paying it off even though it was totaled. I would have done that regardless who I bought it from but most people only care about their self. One thing about this site you will hear anything.

CR Cars has moved to 9357 NC HWY 16, Milles Creek. We will continue to offer the best quality and prices on all services provided. If you shop anywhere else for automobile maintenance, you paid too much!

Dang, the neighborhood just went to heel. I was in their place on D Street twice, never again

I don't buy that. Someone will have to show me the state law allowing a repossession of a vehicle because the borrower had work done on the car while keeping the payments paid before the due date. I do not know this car lot owner but I have worked for a car lot helping with repos so I know a little bit about the car business. I would also like to see the wording of this contract. I worked for my then bother in law at his shop for a few months. He was the crookedest dealer I know "that is saying something" and he never could repossess a vehicle when the payments are caught up. Trust me if he could legally do it he would have. The one thing I have witnessed lenders like my bother in law do that left a bad taste in my mouth is sell a car that he doped up knowing the buyer will fix it because they made a sizable down payment. He could pick his target customer that would fix the vehicle.. He would pretend to be willing to work with them because if they repair the vehicle they will not be able to make that months payment. He would offer to fix it and add it to what was owed. When the car was fixed he would demand them to make the payment in full including what was past due. The day after the due date he would go after the car. If the buyer could get the payment he would hit them with a repossession fee storage fee and if he fixed it the garage bill because he wanted the car back. I saw cars that looked new but were junk be sold two three times and sometimes more. The suckers would fix it then he would get it back and like most dealers with low end vehicles the down payment covered what he gave for it at the auction. What the OP is saying would get the dealer sued. I will have to see proof.

I believe he got behind on his car payments because he was trying to find a dictionary or maybe a grammar book and his vehicle was repossessed and now he's mad and he's trying to start trouble for this guy.

Yes iv seen them do it n if u needed any work done on the car they would want to do it if u took it some where else n had it fix they would repo it cause they would say u broke the agreement in the contract n they would repo it even if ur up to date on payment n car insurance.they repoed a bmw from someone that had a brand New same color paint job just because he had it painted.pretty much if you change anything to the car that makes the value of it better they will repo

And like all them cars y'all seen there before they move is all repos just because if u change one thing on the car or truck u buy from them wether u get tires from someone else if u don't get it there its a repo to them Ik a person that bought a car from them n had a brand New same color paint job n they repoed it just because they painted

I just want to make sure I'm reading your post right. If you purchase a vehicle from this business and you increase the value of said vehicle by investing money into improvements they will issue a repossession order to get it back. The vehicles that were repossessed were the payments up to date? I know some buyers will purchase a high mileage vehicle that is a few years old then when it breaks down they have it fixed then think they can take the money owed for payments and put that towards the garage bill. All used cars are as is unless you SIGN an agreement with the car lot. They can not take a car back unless the payments are behind. That is why I ask for clarification because no one can do this. They would be sued if they did.
