Shelby was quite the legend. It would be interesting to see her now. The men all drooled over her, I guess it was not her appearance. I saw her a couple of times and thought she was kind of trashy looking (I guess that fits the job she did).

I've heard people speak of her name. But never met the lady.can't tell you what she even looks like or can even tell you her last name. She must have been a legend of wilkes county.

 Why is it so hard for some of you to research the huge world of info available to you?,... So you can offer intelligent and factual replies??? You can find this with the same fingertips that got you on gowilkes to GOSSIP with!!!! Some of you are so far off base,...that it is hilarious how you make such weak attempts to LOOK like you know what you are talking about!!! Karen is the first name of the lady at Smoot Park,... and she is mentally challenged. The man killed was her PIMP!!!! Please do some research,.... you will find that the actual version of the story is a helluva lot more than you have learned.
As for Ms. Shelby Jean,... she has more character and personality than all of the repeat haters and gossips of GW.

And to also let you know she was who she was but you could not ask for any better friend than she was she was kind hearted if you needed anything she would of given it to you ,even the shirt off her back if you needed it worse than her, she would give you food if you needed it or helped you in anyway she could you would not of met any kinder hearted person than she is and still is..

To let all you know yes Shelby is alive and she did have a daughter the reason i know she is my aunt.and yes you new her by shelby jean but that wasn't her real name. Shelby is right but Jean is not.Her life style was hers she didn't hide it like they try to do now she was who she was and that was it, and she was good at what she did or they wouldn't of kept coming back for more. The lady's was just jealous of her and she still looks as good as she did back then if not better for her age..and she can still dance like no other.

I saw her once in Pizza Hut, late one Saturday night....
She had blonde hair and a leopard-print outfit on....I don't remember her ta's....

I knew of Shelby when I was a kid. She was a very pretty woman and I can still remember her smile. I was around 10 or so when I first met her. Anyway, I didn't know that she had passed till I was older. I often tell people that I thought she was cool lady. We all have a past and none of us are Saints. In fact, many of us put the Aint in Saint and I'm not so proud of my past. However, it is what it is!

I haven't read anything bad about her on this thread. All I've read is that she cleaned up well, and apparently had big boobs.
