FYI winds,..... all the things that you are saying you do for those dogs,...... that is NOT LOVE!!!!!! If you truly LOVED those dogs,...... you would immediately get them out of your house and if at all possible,.... into an environment that is healthy for them.( Making your own environment healthier!) Everything you are doing is self-centered and self-serving because YOU DO NOT WANT TO LET THE DOGS GO!!!!!! Be real with yourself before your selfishness ends up costing the lives of innocent dogs!!!!! #1,.. You can't afford any pet,...#2 You do not have time to care for pets,...... And #3,.... You are not teachable when it comes to the tremendous amount of money and work required to be a responsible pet owner!!!! The Humane Society will help if you are persistent and willing to do a little research to find someone to help!!!! PEACE

Winds I don't know where you get the idea on GoWilkes that no one likes you. Heck everyone is trying to offer advice and sympathy for you, the dogs, your mother in law and husband. The irresponsible statements you make is what aggravates your friends and they talk hateful to you trying to get you to understand. I don't know how old you are, but if you are married and living with your husband and mother in law, there needs to be one of you to take charge that has enough common sense to do things in a responsible way. I can tell by your posts when anyone offers good sound advice, it just goes in one of your ears and out the other. Or possibly over your head like when you are trying to talk to a little kid or hard headed teenager.

Windsofchange can't afford to pay the power bill or buy groceries, why in the "h" does she even need one dog! Get off your *** and get a job and stop begging for a handout!

windsofchange, I don't doubt you love your dogs, but you just have too many and it's overwhelming financially for you guys. I hope her leg gets better after the amputation, Please just stop with getting the dogs!

I appreciate the people who want to be my friends. I just want people to understand that the dogs leg has been seen by the vet several times. X-rays have been done. Several courses of antibiotics were done, pain meds were done. I'm trying to make people see that I'm doing the best I can for her. Now that we can afford the surgery with my MIL'S help, it will be done Monday. I love my dogs and I am doing my best for them. If I didn't care, Lucie would not be cared for at all. My days are spent taking care of the dogs and the house. I watch Lucie constantly, always checking her leg.

winds, that just is not true...there are a few of us who truly, even though it's only via gowilkes...are trying to help you understand that, you need to take care of yourself first, then if possible take care of one or two dogs, so that you can truly enjoy being a pet owner and having happy healthy pets.

Again, you don't owe anyone any explanations...and yes, I suggested to you that it's best sometimes to just not post your personal life on gowilkes...you always end up getting your feelings hurt.

btw, that is not the story you first stated about the dogs leg....

Honey if you remember I tried to be your friend.

Why you keep posting is ridiculous. Abuse and attention seeking is just enough. Kill your dogs on your own time.

OK, someone told me to shut up, that no one here is my friend, everyone is out to destroy me but..... While I was in the hospital, after the leg had healed, she was playing and jumped off the bed, landed wrong, a bone broke because the leg was still weak. We did take her to the vet, the vet said that it needs to be amputated because of the internal damage.
I've been trying to keep it cleaned and free of infection until we can have it amputated which will happen Monday morning.

Ur not listening. The dog's leg healed. It was better. She used it, running, playing normally. I went into a mental hospital for a week. A couple days after I was admitted, husband called, said she was hurt again. When I was released, I got home and checked it, I found the broken bone sticking through the skin. We put her on antibiotics and pain meds again. Vet done X-rays, found the broken piece of bone. She said the leg had been injured for so long, it would be best to just amputate the leg.

Ok, I have to ask... How did the husband break the poodles leg? I am tramatized by the but worms revelation but will not look for more information on that.

Let's not forget the part where she said she used a straw to dig worms out her dogs butts. Imagine how painful that would be.

Yeah, guess I am missing lots of the story. I wasn't aware of her husband breaking the leg and the salt in the wound. Yikes.

Nothing wrong with having multiple pets, as long as their taken care and your home doesn't resemble the show hoarders! I have two small dogs inside which are house trained and I don't allow them on my furniture, and two big dogs outside, which are all well behaved. You have to be willing to put in the effort to care for your animals, if not then you don't deserve them. I can't stand it when people get pets and then realization hits them that its a huge responsibility and then get rid of them. Before anyone gets a new pet, do your homework and be positive your able to commit long term.

SHBAC.....at least winds dogs didn't illegally cross the border!!! And unlike the illegals crossing the border, these dogs didn't and don't have a choice in the matter...

Really, there is much more to the story than just what Truth has tried to explain to you!!!!
