I wish someone in Wilkes had both the time and access to a scanner to provide information like Kenneth Reece does for the Watauga County Road Conditions site.

Roads problems in the counties south of us.

This event produced more snow in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina than in Wilkes.

We may have something to watch next Friday for Wilkes...*might*. Will know in the next few days.

ha HA....we'll know next Friday and not before then...

I was on 268 about an hour ago, and there's nothing to worry about.

Does any one know how the roads are from Wilkesboro down 421 towards Clingman? I have someone who will be traveling that way in a little while. I noticed the temp on go wilkes is 30 degrees. Is there anything on the roads to freeze? Thanks
