Grandpa gone wild

0 to 60 mph in 10.6 seconds and 112 MPH is the top speed for the 2010 or newer Prius. Its the pedal masher going slow to get 50 plus MPG.

Go ahead admit it. No I'm not the one but you people in a hurry to go no where are dangerous.

WOW, pantera keep talking, I really do believe you were the jerk holding up traffic, why else would you be busting my chops on this thread? Troll much?

There are 3 4lanes 2nd street/18 too, crybaby. You're one of those people who are always late and love to blame it on other people, go ahead just admit it.

Sweet Jesus, I didn't know I was going to face the Spanish Inquisition on this! Pantera, there are TWO 4-lanes, 268 AND D St, so get off my arse.

You said by the time you got to the 4 lane you were late. No stop signs and only 1 traffic light so try again.

Pantera, please tell me that wasn't you in the Prius.

You forget there are stoplights and brake-riders to contend with as well. Then, by the time you get to the first stoplight and have to sit through it and the one at the top of the hill, you most certainly can and will wind up late.

Smalltownman if you averaged 50 mph it should take you 6 minutes to get to the 4 lane from rock creek road at an estimated 5 miles. If you averaged 30 mph it will take you 10 minutes. If you left 10 minutes early you still are 6 minutes ahead. So try again, your math doesn't add up.

Or a Buick with an old fart behind the wheel

Yes, the only thing slower than a Toyota Prius is either a loaded school bus or a loaded tractor-trailer.

I had left 10 minutes earlier, just to try to beat all the traffic on 268. I was doing good until I got to the IGA and got behind 5 other cars that were being held back by a Prius. My top speed was 37mph and by the time I got to the four lane, I was already late!

leave 5 minutes earlier,it's not worth stressing over,i use to watch people jocky for places in traffic ,speed in rush hour traffic ,nearly throw hissy fits if they had to hit the brakes or let someone get in front of them. then at the very next stop light i would be looking down into their car

I have come to the conclusion that if you ever find yourself behind either one of these cars, you ain't going nowhere fast! Don't these folks realize their cars have GAS PEDALS?!?!

OK, end of rant, have a nice day.
