I would like to encourage anyone who has a spiritual need to lift your eyes up above the failures of man, the weakness of man, the stumbling blocks of man, the misunderstandings of man, and look to Jesus the Christ, the redeemer of sinful man, who is sitting at the right hand of the Father making intersession for you and me. As the woman in Mark 5: 25,26,27 had a need in her life that only the Master Christ The Lord could help her with came in the press of people all around them, was able by her Faith in his power, to touch him for healing. You too can touch him for your needs if you will look to him the author and finisher of our faith. May the Lord give us all the strength to look to him.

Moreover, your little ones who you said would become a prey, and your sons, who this day have no knowledge of good or evil, shall enter there, and I will give it to them and they shall possess it. (Deuteronomy 1:39)

Or like a miscarriage which is discarded, I would not be, As infants that never saw light. There the wicked cease from raging, And there the weary are at rest. (Job 3:16-17)

Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:13-14)

    (John 8:24) " I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."(John 10:1) " Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber."(John 10:9) " I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."(John 14:6) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

    Only through the name of Jesus. Not through works, or good intentions, just Jesus Christ. Show me a KJV verse that says otherwise,

I am sure you don't want to go around thinking the body of Christ that he shed his blood for was kinda kinky as you say.

"for we are members of one another"...
sounds kinda kinky

The scripture is speaking of the body of Christ, the church, many members and needed to make up the body. Just as our own bodies have many members and each member is important and needed. Our bodies are wonderfully created and we need all parts working to be healthy. The Lord Christ Jesus is in the process of forming his body of believers at this very time. And yes he has workers doing his work in this world, I thank him for what he is doing.

foxhunt...it is called justification, it is granted to those whom came before the Christ...and to those who have never heard the word...and to the innocents, i.e. such as children whom have not reached the age of accountability, such as your niece...

The act of justification
One-time act

"Justification is a legal act, wherein God deems the sinner righteous on the basis of Christ's righteousness. Justification is not a process, but is a one-time act, complete and definitive.

The word justification is not always used in the same sense. Some even speak of a fourfold justification as a justification from eternity, a justification from the resurrection, a justification in final judgment as these are all true"

Foxhunt, he was stupid and didn't need to be preaching

xxxxxx

He is stupid. People on here said the same stuff.You have to believe and ask to be saved by Jesus. Nothin about millions who grew up and died without ever hearing of Jesus, or who never life old enough. How could a loving God demand that of people who never had a chance choice? Anyone who said my neice or brother went to **** because they didn't do this is sick

Ephesians 4: 11-25

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Years back I went to a local Baptist Church. The preacher was an old guy. He kept saying unless you ask God with your mouth to save you, and accept Jesus as your savior you were gonna go to ****. I ask if there were exceptions. He said no. I had lost my 3 year old neice to cancer that year. Poor thing she never got the chance. He said everyone was born with sin, so we are all bound for ****.

I got to thinking about the baby my Momma miscarried. All those Indians who lived and died never even knowing about Christ before Columbus came. All those people in africa, china, indians,russia, japan, south american, for 1500 years people who never knew of Jesus Millions of peole living and dying never even hearing the name Jesus,. God condeming them all to **** for somthing out of their control. what about those 1000's of year before Jesus was here. Not many were Jews.

It seemed to me it all came down to who you knew, where you lived, and if you had the right parents to tell you this stuff. Stopped going to church after that. Either he was right and God was monsterous, or he was stupid and didn't need to be preaching, and God just let him go on spreading lies in his hame.

It's almost to bad that they don't have a thumbs up button on here because 1047pm said it better than I ever could. I'm a firm believer but I believe the church and the so called men of the cloth have collectively failed not only the Father but also the flock as well. I believe there are SOME good churches and SOME good preachers out there but in this day and age they are few and far between. I just broke up with my girlfriend over this issue. She is a good woman and a strong believer and I'm a firm believer as well but I don't go to church. I haven't been to church, other than weddings and funerals but maybe 10 times within the last 20 years and that's due in no small part to the fact that I grew up about 10 minutes down the road from PTL and remember the whole Jim/Tammy Baker scandal quite well. Neither I nor my family were involved in PTL in anyway shape or form other than I'd watch Jim & Tammy on TV from time to time out of curiosity but I had a preacher at the church I was attending at about that same time that had his own "fall from grace". I also have an uncle (by marriage) that is a minister that is just about one of the lowest scumbag degenerates I've ever known. These things along with other experiences and things I've observed have made me quite skeptical if not down right cynical of the modern church. It's sad that the church (collectively speaking) has had such a fall from grace and failed the believer and God alike so miserably in recent years/decades. My ex wanted me to go to church with her and I just couldn't do it which is why we are no longer together.
