BEWARE!!! Do not accept work from Selina Moore!!!!! She took Mr Clay to court today and he was made to pay her the $75.00 back HOWEVER the complaint was for not building the gate for her deck. Mr. Clay had receipts and documents of time spent on other work for her but that was ignored because they focused on the gate. He was never paid for his time and expense of the things he did do. I think this is a crime. This man tried to fix a door for her, spent a couple hours trying to find the right materials for her at Lowes, talked to them at Lowes about a Barn Door she wants installed, spent his own gas money on two separate occasions, bought materials to make the gate and then took them back, and still had to pay her the entire 75 back. I guess his time is not as valuable as hers. I believe in our justice system but sometimes it really lets people down.

Mr. Clay is a reputable man. He has done work for me and will continue to do work for me despite the slander suit put on by Selina Moore. I will encourage Mr. Clay to file a slander suit and ask for payment for services rendered. Its not about the money but the principle.

So according to the Elements of the "crime" for failing to work after paid, you state you aren't happy with the work etc and that he broke he door he "put in". That charge is for a scam such as taking money and NEVER returning to work EVER. You will be charged on your court date for filing fraudulent statements in order to obtain a criminal charge. Just making sure you know that. One post you stated "the magistrate thinks different".... Magistrates only issue charges based on the eronious statements that you feed them. You think everyone here is telling you wrong BUT, you will see that YOUR callous behavior will get yourself caught in the JUSTICE system. And lastly, you aren't the only one who can utilize CAPITALIZATION in sentences.

Sounds like you are a bonfide psychopath, out to damage the name of someone due to you being scorned by a man somewhere deep in your past, so now, all men are your enemy.

Sincerely, not a preacher, not a bojangles consumer, and not someone who is a long lost relative of a 90 year old that was too lazy to assist the poor lady to the bathroom. But rather someone who knows who you are and all about the scornful ways that you savagely publicly humiliate the men who turn you down.

And just to post script, I don't guess you realize the gratitude this community has to Mr Clay and the ones who stood by him while his sons servered in wars overseas (one of which almost died yet returned for several other tours of duty with the Marine Corps), for your very right to callously attack his demeanor and family name as you have. I'm guessing that you'll be voting for Hillary (Killary) Clinton. And yes, I am a neighbor.... One of the many that closed my door in your face.

When the dust settles clay will sue you for slander. The door was a POS I paid 800$ for my last door

What you will hear is the sound of nothing as the case is continued month after month after month after month until one or the other gets tired of it, runs out of lawyer money, or croaks.

Unfortunately, this is what can happen but I am willing to advocate for myself & others at the risk of being mocked.

We expected a honest days work for a honest pay . . not only was this business incapable of providing the service advertised ( home repair ) but the owner flat out STOLE from many of us, not showing any intent to start or complete the work paid for ! A known fact I have heard repeatedly from my neighbors. & people who know of this business !

Yet another confirmation on the DECIETFUL business PRACTICES of CLAY'S HOME REPAIR ! This time a local minister . . he said, " I thought he had gotten straightened out ".

CLAY'S HOME REPAIR has removed the sign from his front yard. CHEATING your neighbors is not nice !

I talked with another neighbor & he said, " Oh, that's what he does . . when somebody is on him he'll take it down for awhile & then after he thinks they forgot he puts it back out . . l o l ".

His SCAM is pretty routine ! ! He has LIED & CHEATED our neighbors for too long ! !

The Wilkes Co. Sheriff Dept. is looking for him now to serve the criminal complaint paper on him.

$75 is reasonable for a deposit to do a simple, small project ( a little gate to go across my porch ). The balance was to be paid in full upon completion. The inside closet door was a different project.

CLAY'S HOME REPAIR on New Hope Rd., in Purlear is NOT an HONORABLE business & has a known REPUTATION of being DECEITFUL in the community. I found out a little to late. Hopefully he will change his practices now that he has been exposed.

For those of you who have supported my endeavors to bring CLAY'S HOME REPAIRS on New Hope Rd in Purlear to justice for his DECEITFUL business practices , we have a court date of March 11th @ 9 am.

I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau & WBTV ' On Your Side '. I also spoke with some of our neighbors at Bojangle's in Millers Creek. One in the crowd stated he is known for CHEATING & LYING to our neighbors for years, TAKING MONEY & NOT RETURNING to do the work ! ! It is a known fact that CLAY CHEATED a lady in her 90's ! ! ( verified by her family ). This lady's daughter thanked me for standing up to him .
He preys on older, simple country people . . . some of little means that struggle to meet their needs. CLAY'S HOME REPAIR does not care who he HURTS ! !

Just be careful who you hire for these type jobs. Make sure you check out references. Cheapest isn't always better. It's amazing how some people can take advantage of others. Just remember What goes around comes around. I do not know this person or their business but I personally know others who have been duped the same way by someone else in the county.

I really hate to see people getting taken great advantage of especially when the person does not deserve air to breathe. Money is hard enough to come by and people like him are out stealing it away from innocent people who just want a simple or a large job done complete and honest. I hope that he has his day in the court system and finally guilty people are shown they will be dealt with. This man has quite the reputation to be sneaky and could not tell the truth if his life depended on it. Maybe the courts can bring him down once and for all. I do happen to know that there are many people in Wilkes county have been burned by him and very badly. I would hope that they come forward and reveal what he has done to them and maybe get some justice for all of his illegal gains.
