Matthew 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

That time is fast approaching.

It is necessary to have a relationship with our maker? Which one? There are hundreds of them out there.
If you were born in another place could it be a different one than you have now?

You have a big job ahead of you then. It will take you a very long time to figure this out. You better get started before you run out of time.

huh????
allow me this please...regarding your assumption or personal judgment!

I'm neither afraid nor angry, peace is always attainable...and neither do I blame religious zealots...that is just an nth of the root cause.....everyone is personally responsible for their own fears/anger and spiritual peace...religious zealots just add to the fear/anger and spiritual peace that others may be searching for.

Your name implies that you think that you are entitled to sit on the throne of your life. Your are sitting in the seat that only Christ the Savior has earned the right to sit in. You will have no peace until you step down to your rightful place at his feet and let him be Lord, Savior , and King.

You say you have peace, but you demonstrate that you only have fear and anger and you

blame religious zealots for this fear you're obsessed with.

There is clearly nothing to fear from being redeemed or having a relationship with Spirit....the problem you seem to be having..is of your assumption that if it is not your redemption path, it is of no value, which you truly have no real way of knowing that!

"I also agree that a person can be obsessed with religious views that are off a little and it can make him mad."

That is clearly an understatement of epic proportions!!!

blaming religious zealots for this so called fear you're obsessed with...is not the bases for those whom decline your particular offer.

You can't watch the news without getting a little upset. I watch the news....get upset...and then have to remember that my hope really isn't in this world so it puts things in perspective.

Clearly, the dude who DID string that thought together was not very smart either, 10.

I think it makes a lot of sense if you go back and read the article. I have tried to keep up with the news most of my life. I like truth in news, not slanted one way or another. I tend to believe the news until I see it misleading in some way. I also agree that a person can be obsessed with religious views that are off a little and it can make him mad. I see some of the network news programs that are clearly intended to destroy the other side. If we do the that we are the same as them.

It's necessary to watch the news to keep up with current events. However, obsessing over the news will rot your soul and joy.
Exactly the same consequences when religious zealots obsess

News kills creativity. Finally, things we already know limit our creativity. This is one reason that mathematicians, novelists, composers and entrepreneurs often produce their most creative works at a young age. Their brains enjoy a wide, uninhabited space that emboldens them to come up with and pursue novel ideas. I don't know a single truly creative mind who is a news junkie not a writer, not a composer, mathematician, physician, scientist, musician, designer, architect or painter. On the other hand, I know a bunch of viciously uncreative minds who consume news like drugs. If you want to come up with old solutions, read news. If you are looking for new solutions, don't.

Society needs journalism but in a different way. Investigative journalism is always relevant. We need reporting that polices our institutions and uncovers truth. But important findings don't have to arrive in the form of news. Long journal articles and in-depth books are good, too.

These are not my words, I am not smart enough to figure this out on my own. It does make sense to me.

I like to keep up with the news and I try to keep it in perspective. Learning about advancements in science and technology is exciting but I will admit the news about all the religious fighting and killing is disturbing so I don't dwell on it much.

I must have a super system. I read and watch all kinds of news and feel great! I have a friend that never watches or reads news and she tends to be a bit of a nervous Nelly, but I think that is just her personality.

News is toxic to your body. It constantly triggers the limbic system. Panicky stories spur the release of cascades of glucocorticoid (cortisol). This deregulates your immune system and inhibits the release of growth hormones. In other words, your body finds itself in a state of chronic stress. High glucocorticoid levels cause impaired digestion, lack of growth (cell, hair, bone), nervousness and susceptibility to infections. The other potential side-effects include fear, aggression, tunnel-vision and desensitisation.
