Since I was getting little real information. I went and looked it up myself. She is a Republican. and I would suggestion anyone interested to go read her page, and keep digging until you feel good about your decision. Not what I say, not what some one on here says,
Most women will not vote just for for any woman, just because she is a woman. I have heard too many people tell me that she is a woman and you know she will protect women, and then I see women this year running for office saying the craziest stuff. So I do my homework on everyone, with a stick, or a slit, neither gets a pass for having what they were born with. I remember some crazy woman from Nevada talking about rape and incest said that God planned for rape and incest to happen, and planned for a pregnancy if the victim becomes pregnant because of the assault. Gentle Ladies of Go Wilkes and sistas just go do your homework, and trust your own judgments. I really get nervous when someone tells me I have to buy from someone just because they have "Jesus Saves" in their business, or I should vote for a woman because she is a woman, or I need to vote for this Gentleman because he grew up in my hometown, and they actually neglect or avoid telling me what I really need to know to make an intelligent and weighed decision. As my Momma always told me if someone is working so hard to kept you looking at them, then go peek behind the curtain. The wizard might be nakid, an idiot, and dangerous.

I'd rather vote for a woman who advocates in favor of Planned Parenthood than for a man in the party of, "a woman's body has ways of shutting real rape down" and "rape is God's plan."

That is just it. Men have not been running the country. I am for women's rights as much as anyone as I have been in an abusive situation but seriously the ones now who say they will help you are really only wanting to help themselves and truly don't know how to help your situation but want your vote.
Planned Parenthood sucks. When they say planned 'parenthood' there is no parent to it. It means walking away from parenthood, no responsibility so why do they call it planned 'parenthood?' Glad my mom didn't feel like I was an inconvenience to her! .

My divorce went terribly wrong
..just because my husband was able to hire one of the attorneys that is friends with the judges
Not a prayer in **** would made any differences for me. So ladies think of this...vote vote bote

Okay I been thinking about the question Mrs shumate would impact wens rights. First I think she would be more likely to do the right thing for a women during abuse cases and divorce cases because of the fact she is not part of the Wilkes county court club
If you have been to court you see how everybody over are big happy slap you on your back buddies. Having a big ole time laughing and carry on with each other. So I believe that they would side with their buddy. In most cases women don't have the $ to hirehigh $ attorneys like most men would. So since she don't hang out with this group of attorneys and lawyers...she would listen and give fair judgement...instead of
Looking out for their pals best interest. Hopefully she could see thru the b/s most men tell in court. I am hopefully that she would look out for abusive women and men who try to get the court that the woman is just crazy and needs medication. That is the one argument all men use. Wants everyone to think that she just is mad...when actually the man is really the crazy one
With her being a woman judge she would see this trick thean trys to use. I just hope she wins and dies all she can to help women when they really need it. Still yet women vote for Donna shumate...you never know when it might be you.

I am normally political.. But i met Donna shumate at a fund raising event this past weekend and she was very personal and nice
She is the new district court judge we need on the bench for Wilkes county to look after the women's rights here in this corrupt Wilkes county. She has the woman's view and understands the abused women's views...and the women's rights for fairness in divorces. Right now we do have a judge Houston helping the woman's rights...but maybe retiring soon. So if all women feel like they need a wan who has power to lend a hand, ear and heart to their case when dealing with abuse and divorces, please vote for Donna shumate. And get men out of power...some of who think a woman's place is in the home and the abuse and taken advantage of is what she deserves..
I AM VOTING FOR DONNA SHUMATE!!!!!!
