It is true caj that no woman could ever love me as much as my dog does.....my crush is fortunately a human female and any such relations with her would be compliant with current b*stiality laws ....unless she's like a werewolf chick like twilight or something.

I'm not as good as story teller as you are but I'm going to tell you a story,
You decide not to tell her how you feel and she figures you are not interested that way. She goes out and meets a new guy and they seem to hit it off pretty well. You are jealous but still keep your feelings a secret. They continue you date for six months and she calls to tell you they are engaged. Inside you are dying, but try to put on a happy face and congratulate her.
The night before the wedding you are out with her to celebrate her bachelorette party, after a few c*cktails she reveals she was really into you but since you didn't feel the same, she felt she had to move on......
It could happen, I think at least half a dozen movies have that theme.
Be honest with her, tell her you don't want to mess up your friendship, but you have to at least try or risk losing the chance at love and happiness.
