Hurricane still has not made landfall. When it does, and goes inland a bit, our moisture chances will INCREASE. So will the wind.


I expect more numerous snow showers anytime through Tuesday....hurricane makes landfall tonight I believe.

What about last year's hurricane, You cant say that was not nothing there compaired to what's happening now romney. That **** pulled a tree out of the root of the ground and almost hit my land line along with had a bad storm of lighting and I;m pretty **** sure it almost hit the house cause the rumblig but I on the other hand was too chicken **** to investigate cause I didnt want to get bbq'ed.

45 degrees...several forecasts has Wilkes going over 50...probably won't happen.

Stronger winds are yet to come...as the hurricane makes landfall and heads west a little ways before going north.

That is to be expected...but the greatest chance for snow showers for Wilkes has not got here yet. That should be tonight into Tuesday morning.


WXII12 may be a bit overdone...showing up to 1inch. We will see.

it an't gonna do much if anything here and ya got to be up around 2500 hundred feet on west facing slopes to get any snow that amounts to anything......got a sister that has live in Boone for close to 60 years and she says it an't that big of a deal, I am going up ta take alook and vist
