I think the duty has it out for Mcord.I saw 3 at his house a couple weeks ago. Then again they may be law officer buddies.

Is this it?

A Wilkesboro man was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and driving while impaired after an incident involving shots fired early Friday morning.

Deputy J.S. Handy of the Wilkes Sheriff's Office reported that he arrested Arthur Stevenson McCord, 59, of 1770 Brushy Mountain Road, after he was dispatched about 1:30 a.m. Friday in response to a report of shots fired at 2121 U.S. 421.

According to Handy's report, Jessica Wassell McMahone of Germantown Road, Moravian Falls, said she and at least one other person were shot at while traveling in a car on U.S. 421. Handy said McCord was found on Brushy Mountain Road.

The report said McCord and the victim knew each other. It said a .357-caliber handgun and a .25-caliber handgun were seized.

Haven't read the article, but, it seems if he was arrested, then it's hardly under wraps...public information. Now it's in the JP for all to see.
