Let me know when you want to go ice-fishing. I'll hold up a sign that says "Moose Xing."

underdog2

Will you stand out front and hold a sign so we will know you are the idiot? You decide what to put on the sign I know we will recognize you.

Moving over a moose could be dangerous to one's health. Probably the mooses's, too.

Apparently there is no place you can go to escape the government. Was watching a episode of the Alaska State Troopers show. A bunch of guys were ice fishing on a remote lake. The troopers checked them and told them they had to stay there until they sobered up. If they left on their snow machines he would arrest them for DWI. They were 30 some miles from the nearest road. What was he worried about, maybe them running over a moose? Always thought Alaska would be a good place to live some day, but after seeing this and some other things about the troopers up there dont think so know.

Smonkey, you better backpedal harder. And just to prove you an even bigger idiot, no one is paying $50000 for an acre lot in Triplett. If I want to know what a large fries cost at Hardee's, I will come to you. But stop trying to talk land prices

underdog2

Fins and I have a tract and some lots in Ashe we would be willing to sell you idiots.

smonk

Posted 4:06 pm, 02/27/2013

No one as said anything about a large tract of land for that price. Common sense say if you buy a LOT/ACRE for that kind of money how much land do you own?
Anyone can price land for what want it could be 5,000 or 50,000 an acre.

Fins

Lmao. I know very well what land is worth. And it's not $50,000 an acre in Triplett for large tracts. Just like no one has paid $1million an acre for large tracts. You idiots are confusing lots for acreage.

The land in that area IS very valuable. Mountaintop lots with vistas are often sold for far more than $50k, one could possibly get much more than that per acre. But Mr. Conway may need to sell some of it if he is intent on fighting City Hall. Everybody has to play by the rules, no matter how ***bersome or ridiculous they are.

Of course, it may be that ol' Eustace is attempting to mine his nationwide publicity to portray himself as some backwoods defender of freedom and liberty. Perhaps he has thought this scenario out and is positioning himself for a reality show or even a full-fledged personality cult!

Fins

Posted 10:47 am, 02/27/2013

50,000 an acre? ROFLMAO. Are you talking Russian rubles?

smonk

Posted 10:39 am, 02/27/2013

wonder what that land is worth?

I would estimate his land is worth at least 50,000 a acres and that is on the low end of sale value .

back in the days of our forefathers they didnt have hand sanitizer or antibacterial soap....you developed your antibodies from the bacteria itself....sometimes i think we have been so over conscious about things like that we are killing the good bacteria also....i wouldnt be as concerned about that food handling...some of the things we eat that have been processed is much more dangerous....this about his structures....just because they are not built to last for hundreds of years doesnt mean they are not safe to inhabit...just means they are not built to last by todays standards.....when you build a home today...the wood is treated with gasses and the walboards are full of formaldehyde.... we breathe this every day.... people know when they go to this camp that it is back to nature and the old way of doing thngs.... it isnt the traditional summer camp for kids and adults.... it is a learning experience of the way our parents and grandparents grew up and lived....

While I admire his commitment to the righteous struggle against tyranny, I'm about sure he's a commie.
