Tell your copycat that you are going to dye your hair green and that you plan to get multiple tattoos!

Tell her that you are going to sell your car and buy an old junker.

Tell her that you have stopped bathing and that you like to walk barefoot through cow pies.

I decided to change my hair style and two weeks later she got it cut exactly like mine.
She never brings up anything, until I do it. I just don't mention anything I plan to do or doing around her anymore. Because I just got tired of her copying what I do or say, and trying to do it better. Its awkward when these things happen.

Yes, I know a copy cat and just wonder if she wants to look superior to me for some reason. I told her I was going to let my hair grow out and put it in a bun on top of my head. She started letting her hair grow out. I changed my mind and had mine cut. She looked very surprised when I showed her my new hair cut. There are several other things that happened to prove to me she is attempting to look superior to me. I believe someone may have put her down, maybe compared her to me.

I would feel compassion for her as someone has put her down and made her feel inferior whether it was a husband, a parent, a family member. My own mom said, "why can't you be like her?" concerning a girl walking down the street so clean and neat all the time. Not sure what was wrong with me, can't remember but I did not try to prove her wrong. I just accepted it and went on. That was many years ago but it has stuck with me all these years, the sense of inferiority.

Maybe you and her are just very similar people and she's not copying you at all. Maybe she thinks you are copying her!

She resents your life wishing hers was that way.

My husband always tells me, its because she never had a female figure in her life.
So, I just thought that was why and I felt bad for her, the thing is even though she mimics everything I do.
Most of the time she's rude to me. So, I'm not sure if the things that she does are out of spite. I just really wish she would be herself and make her own goals, etc, instead of copying mine.
But I am going to bite my tongue, take it as a compliment and keep being me and if anything be a good example.

Make sure that you are always the person you wish to be...make sure you treat others in such a manner that flatters you. That's how you deal with it, embrace the fact that someone is actually looking up to you as a role model, as there are very few left in this world.

I do and it's been going on for years. If I accomplish something or mention that I'm planning to do a particular thing, all of a sudden it's her number one goal. She's always trying to outdo me by going beyond what I did and I'm just being myself, not trying to compete at all. If i say I wanna new pair of earrings, bam! She gets a pair. She has even copied my apparence and repeats, copies things I've said in the past.
At first I just overlooked it, now it's just creepy and annoying. So,how do you deal with someone like that?
