Remember that Republicans won the Civil war and Democrats lost

Obviously you feel that is an important point to make. Which would lead one to ask ... Why are you not embracing the Democratic Party today?

Probably many, Moving. It must pain them to know Lincoln was a republican.

Well Z, looks there is at least one idiot that's never heard about that 180!

Z990

Yep, C4, they sure did. And every idiot knows the parties over the decades have done a complete 180 to take on the others traits.

Romney - the northern 'libtards' kicked your sorry ***es. And for you to say the southerners of that time "have more smarts" than any northerner of that time is heartily laughable. H-e-l-l, it's pretty laughable today as well.

I'd say the Revolutionary War could be considered a civil war in the sense it was fought between people that were subjects of the Royal Crown even though some were on one side of the Atlantic and others on the other side. It could also be said that the Revolutionary War was the first world war since England was fighting to keep its position of power among other European countries that were interested in seeing the colonies become independent.

But the US was not officially recognized as a country, free and independent from GB until 1783, by other foreign governments. So truly the war between the states, was technically our first civil war...and hopefully the last...if people are smart.

im a republican and i say there was no civil war. aint to way the northerner libtards beat us in a war. we have more guns and our people have more smarts. we will rise again!

Shagbag - a civil war is fought between people living in the same country. The Revolutionary war was fought between Americans and the British. I know, technically, America belonged to the Brits at that time, but the people that had been living here for over 100 years thought it should not be anymore. If combatants have to be shipped in or flown in or otherwise brought in from another country to fight their personal fight, it is no longer a civil war.

Read the definition of Civil War then do an in depth study of the War between the states.
You will find that what we were taught in school "Civil War" does not fit the definition.
Lies and more lies.
