I thought pot was more expensive than that. When they bust the common drug dealer I thought they figured it more like $2000 a pound. I wouldn't think these high ups would be smoking a lesser grade. How much does pot sell for in Wilkes anyway. If I have it figured right that $10,000 for 8 pounds only comes to around $80 per ounce

Arrested on Drug Charges

An arrest and charges were made this week stemming from an investigation dating back to November of last year. On November 7, Wilkesboro Police served a search warrant at an Industrial Drive location following information they received concerning drug activity. During the course of the investigation and pursuant to the warrant, various items were seized and entered into the Wilkesboro Police evidence system including 8 pounds of marijuana valued at 10,000 dollars, drug paraphernalia, a shotgun, and cell phone. Based upon information obtained at the first location, additional search warrants were issued and the Wilkes County Sheriff's Office was asked to assist as two of the locations were outside the city limits of Wilkesboro. After getting results back from the SBI Lab and consulting with the DA's Office, warrants were secured for Mr. Nell Cashion age 65 of Wilkesboro. Cashion turned himself in and met with Police at the Wilkes County Courthouse. He was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver, felony manufacture of marijuana, and 2 felony counts of maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. Cashion's bond was set at 15,000 dollars and his next court date is March 20 in Wilkes District Court.

They should arrest all of them ,there is more than one and they are no bettter than anyone else. This covering up because of their status is bull, do the crime,do your time, thats the way it is for anyone else,if you are not up in society in public office. Lots of stuff does go on.Hope justice is served.

As far as upstanding citizens are concerned, a certain country club Christmas party got waaay out of hand a few years ago resulting in a particular young, immature attorney having adulterous sex and making a complete &$$ of himself. So saying mayors, lawyers, judges being on the upright moral side while representing our citizens....uh no.

Ok.,, They found 10 pounds of Mary Jane in a building that officials used to play cards in... (And I heard this from a very liable source, can't mention names of course), and you expect me to believe they didn't see any of it, I don't think so... Trust and dang well better believe that Neil didn't get as far as he did in life being an idiot, you can bet your bottom dollar (THUG) that he is going to sing like a bird. I know plenty of people that smoke or have smoked marijuana, as I'm sure we all do, and who has any of you heard that they got any drugs from Neil. That because his customers are political candidates I'm sure. Furthermore, I know a lawyer in this district whom practices at Wilkes most of the time who has plenty of stories to tell about attorney cocaine parties. In fact, at one of the parties an attorney was given something that messed his brain up and now he can barely function let alone practice. Face it people, for some reason drugs doesn't care of you class, your moral, your standards, your race, your religion, or how bad you think you are. They are everywhere. I would like to think that the people we rely on to keep us safe were honest people, but finding someone like that is a shot in the dark. I would be naive to think otherwise. This book isn't over, the story still has not reached it's ending and trust, there are others involved, I mean seriously, ask yourself, where did he get it, who for, etc... There has to be other involved... DUH
