Being treated differently

Folks are individuals and will react and act differently regardless of their background. You can attempt to stereotype rich vs poor, but you'll have a problem making any generalization stick all the time.

Probably has a lot more to do with the individuals then it does the money. I've noticed that sometimes those from a wealthy family have a bit of a disconnect from reality. Not entirely their fault, it just makes it a little harder for them to socialize with people that aren't like them.

I've met some very humble wealthy people and I've met some not wealthy know-it-all jerks. It's all in the personality. The hard part for me is how I treat THEM, lol. It's easy to be nice to likeable people, but it's just a little harder for those that aren't likeable (wealthy or not).

Yes and no.. I've seen wealthy folks with a family history of great achievements, that gives a fair hand shake to everyone, fit right in as if all those things didn't matter.. But I've met a lot of rich pricks that leave the impression I'm more superior than you attitude. The ones I really find hilarious are the folks you've known for along time, always been down to earth and boom! They inherited a little money and all of a sudden they're better than you. Lol..wtf.

I have found that some people's attitude toward the rich are, at least, as troubling as their's toward them. Obviously, self-absorbed jerks (on both sides) clearly exist.

100% yes I see it on a daily basis....Money, Wealth, & high status is not everything or the key to happiness. I've never or wil NOT kiss.someone's arse because they are wealthy or come from a well to do family. "Some" think you are supposed to worship the ground they walk on and I find it hillarious.....people who do that only fuel the flames for self righteous snobs. Like I've told my daughter work hard, get an education, earn your way in life on your own and don't kiss no one's butt to better yourself! Have class and do it on your own! Like my grandpa always said "They put their pants on just like I do".

I can get along with anyone mostly. I think I'm far to introverted to make social connections and feel a part of any type of circle.

I'm happier that way because I don't have to pretend. There have been numerous times when I feel I have pretend and perform because it is what is expected.

Also I'm concerned that I may have offended someone without realizing it. Not by calling them names or saying something inappropriate.

More like getting up from a full dinner table and going to another room to sit alone. I have been made aware of that and was told it was rude but at the time I honestly didn't do it to be rude. I just didn't have anything to say.

OC: I think it IS human nature. People naturally gravitate in terms of interests and connections.

Also I've noticed that in social setting adults, upon meeting, gradually migrate to certain circles.

Maybe it's human nature.

"Unless they act like a little 8itch."
