Bad accident

The lady that saw the hold thing and thought they were going to hit her head on said they were flying when they came around the curve. The officers said they would not have a speed until they done their measurements but they were sure it was alot faster then the speed limit. No matter how fast it was, I hope they pull through. I know how it is to receive the call that your child has been in a wreck. Luckily mine wasnt this bad but it was due to speed and boys will be boys. I bet everyone on this site has pushed their limitations before and if you think back about things you have done or the times you went way to fast for the posted speed limit you probably wonder how you made that curve or missed that car or should you still be alive. My husband always says he should of died at a young age with the way he use to drive and the way he would fly in a car. Prayers for these boys and their families. They have been on my mind since that night. I felt so sorry for them and the family and friends that were there on the scene watching them being cut out of the car and loaded on the ambulances to be taken to the helicopters and one of the choppers was from
Charlotte and the other Winston. We watched them both land.

Has it been confirmed that they were speeding? If that was the cause of the accident, well....

the car is sitting at a junkyard across from Millers creek Elementary school. I was there Sunday night and went back Monday morning and to me the black marks don't indicate that a tire blew out, they are straight as if they didn't know the turn and slammed on the brakes. That turn is dangerous and almost everyone speeds through there. I hope these young men recover quickly.

One boy went to Baptist and the other to Charlotte. A family member on the scene said the 3rd boy was took by ambulance to wilkes regional but shortly after arrival at the hospital was also airlifted to Baptist. Not sure about that one but watched the other 2 boys cut out of the car and took to the helicopters in the field.

You got it. My friend had brain trauma & skull fracture last week and is home now. Remember who is in control. Baptist has some great docs and I am sure they are getting the best of care. Keep us posted. Prayers work. Keep the faith.

Thank you for all the prayers. The passenger in the back is my 1st cousin, he has possible brain trauma and we are all scared. The driver is his best friend and is in very bad shape. He just lost his father less than a month ago. We need God to hear lots of prayer for these boys, so please keep it up. Yes they are boys from Ashe.

No clue but if they were airlifted it was serious. I am in yadkin in the flight path for Air Care. Prayers being said.

Had friends in that serious accident on I-85 last week so I know prayers work, two of them had to be airlifted to Charlotte.

Hope all is well.
