I got to agree with Springy on this one. We're not going to beat terrorists because we're not willing to make the same kind of sacrifices they are. The only way we can beat them is to eliminate the entire lot that means men women and children. They're willing to do that to the western world but the west isn't willing to do that supposedly because we're civilized.
If we had a George Patton or even a Macarthur we might have a chance because both those men would have used any means necessary to defeat an enemy!
Macarthur wanted to Nuke the Chinese think where we'd be today had we done that!
Patton wanted to re-arm the German Army to defeat Russia think of all the trillions of dollars that would have saved. No Cold War for 50 years or better and No Russian aggression today!
Sadly America doesn't breed Men like that today...  if only we did!

LOL, you people have almost no understanding of terrorism. We will never beat these guys. The more we try to beat them the more trouble we get into. We have a tiger by the tail and we can't hang on and we can't let go. No one wants to admit it but the cause of our problems is the Palestinian people and their relationship with Israel. Israel is a bully and we are backing the bully up. The so called terrorists are going to keep blowing us up as long as the bully keeps bullying.
