I had an acquaintance who lived in another city. He lived a block from a "red light camera" intersection. One night on the way home the car in front of him stopped to let a car ahead turn left and left him in the intersection when the light changed. He got a ticket in the mail. There was no appeal, no getting out of it.

He got on his bicycle and rode through the intersection on random nights tripping the camera with both arms up, and middle fingers extended, about twenty times each way. The cops came but he was never caught. They finally removed the cameras.
