anyone (Alonzo, batman, Wilbur, dabbob,.) who fears us or loathes us or simply doesn't get us, will fill anyone's head who will listen, about how bad gays are... but they are grasping for straws. All of us have gay people in our lives. There are good gays and not so good gays, just like the heterosexual community. But how many of you can say on a personal level, that the gays that they know are bad? How many of them have the right to tell heterosexuals that they shouldn't be allowed to marry? NONE. How many gays should be allowed to tell Christians how they should believe or where their faith should lie.... NONE. Worry about your own **** selves and leave us alone.

I agree muse, the article alonzo referred to was about a man/woman, feeling trapped in a man's body. A complicated issue, which has nothing to do with gay marriage.

wilbur: I read your article and I still say you are irrelevant. You are a dying breed (thankfully) and I hope and believe that equal rights will be the law of the land with or without you.
You are a dissenter on many issues. I don't admire your stances.
You seem to be a holdout from the past. Where so many mistakes were made.....in terms of human rights and you still fight equal rights today. Poor you.

congrats on your marriage. I myself have the most amazing woman in the world. She is young (but well above legal age), beautiful, smart, kind, loving, thoughtful of others, a good cook, and has not just a job but a career. I love her with everything that I am. now Muse as to the question of how a loving same-sex marriage damages straight marriages. there is a possibility that it might in that if the heterosexual marriage had problems to begin with seeing a happy same-sex marriage might magnify the issues already there in the heterosexual marriage. but from a basic point of view same-sex marriages don't hurt anyone else

I'd like to point out a couple of key differences between h*mosexuality and pedophilia. h*mosexuality is NOT a crime in North Carolina and pedophilia is. h*mosexuality is practiced between two consenting ADULTS, not an adult and a child. A 12 year old child is not capable of making an informed consent to sex. NC law supports that viewpoint. What two adults consent to in the bedroom shouldn't be a concern to anyone else. From a moral viewpoint, doing no harm to others is the key here.
I've been married to a woman for almost 4 years. NC does not legally recognize my marriage at this time, but like others have already said that is about to change. It may take a while, but ultimately common sense and equality will prevail in this country. After all, the country was founded as a democracy, not a theocracy. We have no official state religion and have freedom to worship as we choose. The majority of people in this country accept Christianity as their religion, but that does not give them the right to have their religious views imposed on everyone else. What I find amazing is how people that haven't darkened the door of a church in years, come out of the woodwork and start quoting scripture when it comes to h*mosexuality. Anyway, congratulations to Muse on your marriage. Nobody can answer your question because your marriage isn't hurting anyone else, much less their marriage.
