Supplies and compliance with State and Federal regulations is an expensive business. Take a look as the portion of the unit which is outside, is it covered with Ice? If so you need to turn of the AC portion of the unit and just let the fan run for several hours, you'll still need to call for service, most likely for a freon recharge.

All of them are expensive no matter who you get.
