I used to think Talia's coffee was great until I went to coffee shops outside of Wilkes County. Their beans are almost always burnt, they have only one variety of bean, they add hot water to espresso to make regular coffee (espresso is made by putting hot water through fine grounds at high pressure whereas coffee is percolated - big distinction, different tastes), and their food is laughably overpriced. I went in asking for pour-over or french press coffee and they had no idea what I was talking about. I am not upset that they do not brew these kinds of (commonly found) coffee, but their general lack of knowledge was somewhat disconcerting.

Great coffee and atmosphere, but a bit pricey for the aria. Still, its a nice treat every now and then.

I have always had positive experiences with them. I like their drinks and love their food. I do wish the menu had a few more items though.

What a great place. The coffee is very good and the sandwiches are always fresh ! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I love this place !

If I had to choose a place in Wilkes County that exemplified the quaintness and warmth of our community, then Talia's would certainly be at the top of the list. I've never gone in wanting more than a cup of coffee and I've never come out feeling less than welcome and well-served.

Thumbs up for well-staffed, well-operated small businesses.

Love Talia's. I wish they were open 30 minutes earlier in the morning so I could get my coffee. I would be there every morning no matter what the cost. If you like good latte's and a place that will make them exactly as you want, then Talia's is your place. The atmosphere is also the best around and I'm always treated with the utmost respect no matter what I'm buying.

I absolutely love the Place. Coffee is out of this world and I love the salads and sandwiches. Just wish they were open late at night during the summer.
