You people are ridiculous with your rude negative comments. I can't eat out much because of fixed income but the time I ate here. It was awesome the BRD Shooter with fried pickles is #1. If you can't say anything nice get your fly trap shut. At least there trying it seems..

Sweet tea is phenomenal..Food is awesome!! Waitresses are so friendly..Sophia signed our ticket and took extra time for us!! GREAT waitress!! Will be going back!!! Thank you so much Katie's by the Lake...Someone said they are getting alcohol!!!! I hope so!!!!

Ate here yesterday about 12 for the first time at lunch and it was awesome!!!! Food was hot, waitresses are great, the tea is exceptional!! I will be going back for sure!!

I just moved to the 268 area and I have ate here 3 times. It is a great place and my children really enjoy it. The lady that was working took my children up to get Ice cream. She was so sweet and had a great personality after talking with her I think she was a Mgr or owner. We had a burger that was called the BRD Burger it was amazing. Each time we have been in there it has been fast friendly and exceptional service. Give them a try!!!! By the looks at some of the comments I have a hard time believing some of them.

Went in waited 15 minutes no one came to speak to us or anything, didn't get out drinks didn't get a hello so we just left prices looked high anyways

They have very little to no menu decided to get the chicken tips which were recommended by the waitress, that had a bad attitude and seemed to rush us, the chicken tips came out cold and weren't able to eat them at all! My sides weren't very good either most of the side are fried. I won't be back!

I had the 10 ounce Chicken Tips Friday Night they were amazing, tender with great flavor. The salads were very good with a variety of veggies. I will be back every weekend. The staff was extremely friendly.

I eat at Katie's by the lake 3 to 4 times a week sometimes twice a day. The staff is amazing and makes me feel welcomed every time. The food is fantastic I have had almost everything on the menu. My favorite place to eat in Wilkesboro, I will continue to go back!

Arrived Saturday evening at 6 and they were already out of the Saturday night special 12oz ribeye. So I ordered the sirloin tips medium rare but they came well done with lots of gristle. And chopped into small cubes so it could have been a cheaper cut. And lots of kitchen clanging noise. The only positive was the staff, very friendly and professional but I won't be back.

I Loved the food and great customer service. Before you knock a business down try doing this type of work. It's one of the hardest you can do!! I will be back every weekend to eat. Looking forward to eating on the patio.
