This one is cheaper. Looks like pecan pie, tastes like pecan pie. Don't tell, and no one will ever know the difference. I've eaten it, and it was delicious.

I love pecan pie but do not have a good recipe. At family get togethers my cousin always makes a pecan pie but with hers it's got a little bit of coconut and raisins in the gooey part of the pie. It just just like a traditional pecan pie just with those added ingredients.

remember, those pecans float to the top...so you gotta decide if'n ya wanna have a little pecan taste or if you want to bite through pecan all the way into the pie....

Seriously though, I think 2 cups of pecan per pie should be enough

    1 cup pecans, chopped
    1 cup light corn syrup
    ½ cup sugar
    ¼ cup brown sugar, packed

    1 tsp. vanilla½ tsp.
    salt
Combine ingredients and pour in deep 9-inch unbaked piecrust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.Topping:

    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1½ cups pecan halves
In small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and honey until combined.Stir in pecan halves until coated. Spoon over pie.Bake 15-20 minutes longer until bubbly and golden.Cool completely. Refrigerate leftovers.

This one was in that little Out Here magazine that tractor supply gives out. Sounds pretty good.

Crap, I was gonna make two but I only have 4 cups of pecans.... Reckon it would hurt if I jusy used 2 cups of pecans per pie?

4 cups of pecans was 13 bucks at lowes foods lol, ridiculous.

Hey! Don't knock it until you've tried it. The thing is really good!

I'm guessing the cream cheese makes up for the budda!

Sacrilege, Moving! Who puts cream cheese in pecan pie? Yuck!

Karo, eggs, butter, white & brown sugar, vanilla, pecans - that's all that belongs in a pecan pie. Cream cheese is just crazy talk.
