A town commissioner resigned this week.


Ronda Commissioner Holly Staley resigned from the board Wednesday night. Staley said the board hasn't helped the town of Ronda and has quote -- "let decisions be made by others." She went on to say that the board has quote '' "bent rules for the rich and likeable and struggled to be fair with those they didn't like." Staley apologized that she did not try to do more during her term. Her father and town commissioner Manual Wood was the one who circulated a petition to try to dissolve the town of Ronda. He is also not running for reelection.
