March 17th, a BENEFIT FUNDRAISER at Wilkes Central High School will be held in a temperature controlled and rain free setting. Numerous items have been donated by WCHS JROTC cadets and teachers to be sold. This sale will raise funds to both benefit a local family and repair Color Guard flags and equipment used in supporting community events. The family benefiting from the fundraiser has encountered a significant financial burden from recurring and frequent medical procedures for one of the family's children. With no medical insurance and numerous surgeries, JROTC will donate half the proceeds for this family's needs.
