SNAP (Spay Neuter Assitance Program)

Public Event · by redyugobandit

Tuesday, May. 29, 2012

SNAP (Spay & Neuter Assitance Program) assists low income families in getting their pet spayed or neutered at a significantly reduced cost. EVERY Tuesday from 6PM to 7PM. Bring PROOF OF INCOME (Food Stamp (EBT) Card or Medicaid card acceptable if on public assistance). Be prepared to pay because we issue a voucher that you take to a participating Vet for the procedure. If pet is NOT up to date with Rabies Vaccinations (required by law) there will be an additional charge. EXAMPLE: Family income below $15,000 cost is $25 for spay or neuter, and $7 for rabies vaccination for a total of $32. (Cost may vary depending on unusual circumstances such as pregnancy or dog over 100 lbs.) Program is sponsored by the Humane Society of Wilkes (HSoW).
