SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) sponsored by the Humane Soceity of Wilkes (HSoW). In order to help low income persons to have their pets spayed/neutered at a significantly reduced cost.

Program is Income related so be sure and bring PROOF OF INCOME. If on public assistance a FOOD STAMP (EBT) CARD or MEDICAID CARD is acceptable. Be prepared to pay at sign-up as a voucher for the procedure is issued.

FOR EXAMPLE: Income less than $15,000 a year dog or cat spayed/neutered cost is $25 (amount may vary slightly due to circumstances such as pet in heat, pregnant or over 100 lbs). LAW REQUIRES pets to be up to date with Rabies vaccination. If pet NOT current there will be an additional charge of $7 for rabies vac.
