There will be an Open House at the Black Cat Railroad Station on Saturday May 12th, 2012 and everyone is invited to come and have some great fun watching all the trains. We have good times for old and young alike. For the tykes we have 2 Thomas The Tank Trains that they can run on their own. You'll have to pry them out to go home; and for the "older" people we have a large HO Scale Model Railroad,
running at least 10 trains at the same time, depicting loosely, part of North Wilkesboro in the l950's which brings a little nostalgia seeing the Old Depot and surrounding areas. As we are a non-profit organization, there is no Admission Charge, however, donations are greatly appreciated to help defray costs of operations. Hours are from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 PM. Come on down and have a great time !!
