There will be an Open House at Black Cat Railroad Station on May 12, 2012 and everyone is invited to attend. As we are a non-profit organization the is NO Admission Charge, however donations are very much appreciated to help defray expenses. Fun for all Ages, "Young" and "Old" alike. For the tykes we have Thomas the Tank Trains that they can handle and run all on their own, one electric running two trains and one manual that they can run to their hearts content. You'll have to drag them out to go home. For the "Older" crowd we have HO Model Trains and a large lay out that runs at least 10 trains at the same time. They go over rivers, trestles, through tunnels and along the towns. We have loosely recreated the Town of North Wilkesboro in the 1950's around the Train Depot and some surrounding areas, which brings a bit of nostalgia to our hearts. Come on down and have some fun being a kid again. We are at the Old Wilkes Art Gallery and hope to see you there.
