St. Patricks Day is an ideal opportunity to celebrate the time-honored traditions of Irish music, dance, food, and fellowship. The Hiddenite Centers annual Irish Done Right! will offer all of these traditions at their best. This event, held in honor of St. Patricks Day, will feature a traditional Irish meal, live performances of Celtic music and Irish dance, and of course, the wearin of the green!
This family friendly event will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Hiddenite Centers Educational Complex. Dinner will begin at 7:00pm with performances to follow. This event is affordably priced at only $15 per person for dinner and the show. Reservations are required and may be made by calling The Hiddenite Center at (828) 632-6966.
Audiences will be delighted by the fast paced, skillful dance steps of Catawba Countys own, St. Josephs Irish Dancers. The dancers will perform to a unique blend of Celtic music from the renowned Iredell County ensemble, Erin Tide.
We are thrilled to present these talented young dancers and outstanding musical performers who are carrying on and preserving an important part of Irish heritage, said Allison Houchins, Hiddenite Center Director of Education. This is a wonderful event for the whole family and a great way to celebrate the true spirit of St. Patricks Day.
