Dan Forest, Republican candidate for the office of North Carolina Lt. Governor, will be campaigning in Wilkes County at 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Brushy Mountain Smokehouse & Creamery. At 7:00 p.m. Dan will be the keynote speaker at the Wilkes County Tea Party dinner.
Dan will be meeting people outside, beside his 32 foot campaign bus, affectionately named "Bubba1", that he is using to crisscross the state during the closing days of this primary election campaign.
The event is free, casual and family friendly and open to all Registered Republicans and Independents in Wilkes County.
"We are basically tailgating our way around the state, giving people the chance to come out and meet me and me them. If people don't like the direction the country and state are headed, come out and tell me about it and let's work together to fix it," said Forest
